Our soul waits for God

Most of you know the news that Joyce and I are proud grandparents of a new baby girl Cora Jane Seitz born to Sarah and Joel on August 6. We were glad to be there to care for Maya while Sarah and Joel were to the hospital for the birth. Cora is a precious petite little girl. It does not appear that she will have her sister's red, curly hair not that it really matters but it is a question that has been asked by some. I am home in Michigan this week while Joyce stayed in Wisconsin to help with the new baby. I will go on Saturday with some excited to cousins of Cora who can't wait to see and hold her. Leah and Kurt will also be joining us on Saturday driving up from St. Louis. Our plan is to return home on Sunday. On another note I hope our farm friends in MN got some of the nice rain we received on Monday, almost two inches by us.

Psalm 33:20-21 "Our soul waits for the Lord; God is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in the Lord because we trust in God's holy name."  Yes, may it be so.

The English Standard Version Study Bible Commentary states; "Each member of the faithful who sings this, and takes to heart the greatness and wonder of God, is enabled more and more to rest his soul in the Lord, confident that God's plans will succeed in the earth."

God's perfect peace is a tremendous blessing and asset for the Christian's life, your lie and mine.
Do what God says and say what God does.
