We are getting settled in our new location. There is much to organize and figure out but we are feeling more comfortable. We miss the known of family, friends and community but also recognize the necessity of change. We are grateful for the abundant provisions God has granted to us in all aspects of our life. The following quote from Jesus Calling by Sarah Young was helpful to me as I reflect on the abundance in my life:
"I want you to enjoy to the full this time of ease and refreshment. I delight in providing it for you. Sometimes My children hesitate to receive My good gifts with open hands. Feelings of false guilt creep in, telling them they don't deserve to be so richly blessed. This is nonsense thinking, because no one deserves anything from Me. My kingdom is not about earning and deserving; it's about believing and receiving...When you receive My abundant blessings with a grateful heart, I rejoice. My pleasure in giving and your pleasure in receiving flow together in joyous harmony."
We can enjoy the wonderful gifts that Almighty God grants to us and recognize that it is from God that all blessings flow. When we get that our soul flourishes. God's best to you as you enjoy the presence and work of God in your life.
